Adventure packs are designed to expand and deepen your adventures.You must have a copy of Escape the Dark Castle to use one. In terms of content, each Adventure Pack follows a similar format - adding new chapters, characters and items to the game. Each pack also introduces a new mechanic which brings a little more complexity - but these new elements are always optional.

This Adventure Pack contains:  

• 1 New Boss: The Plague Lord, gaining strength as his infection grows
• 15 New Chapters: His deranged followers, and new castle locations  
• 3 New Characters: Versatile new prisoners ready to join the quest  
• 3 Character Dice: Representing the new prisoner’s endowment of skills  
• 5 New Items: Vital new equipment for prisoners to discover in the depths
• 1 Plague Dice: Used to control the contraction and spread of this vile disease

New Rules
Along with fifteen new castle locations, three new playable prisoners, and a new boss, this expansion for Escape the Dark Castle introduces an entirely new mechanic to the system – Plague! Prisoners will now encounter Carriers - plague-infected lunatics bent on spreading the disease. Prisoners can contract, spread, and even succumb entirely to this rampant atrocity, adding a new dimension and weight to the game’s risk-reward decisions.
